18.36.54 House – extreme architecture of the house for creative couples
018.36.54 House - unique house, designed by American architect Daniel Libeskind for the creative couple who has abandoned the author of the following call: “What would you have not developed yet, do it as much as possible more extreme!”.
So why do houses of this abstract is unusual numeric name? According to the author of the project, a living area of ??this residence, built in Connecticut (USA), forming a spiral band of the 18 planes based on 36 points, connected by 54 lines.
Sharp-angled flat surface interspersed with ample windows, through which enters the house of the surrounding nature and a sufficient amount of natural daylight.
This dynamic creates a unique architectural form of the exterior and interior spaces extreme that interact with the surrounding landscape and distant scenic landscapes – rugged terrain with forests and fields, fragments of landscape architecture of the 18th century and ancient oaks swinging.
Spiral motion around the kitchen, living room, dining room and bedroom are naturally and quietly – functional areas flow seamlessly into one another. Warm natural materials and geometric forms of finishing the space as if they erase the boundaries between internal and external.
Unique design challenges both traditional and modern concepts of what architecture can be, naturally blend into the landscape, offering his own harmonic concept. This whole structure is self-sufficient and needs no further decoration.
Masterful architectural elements alternating with fragments of the surrounding landscape and create a comfortable, happy customers, extreme living environment.
